Last Film You Saw

I've seen it, excellent movie.
Superb acting.
I love these A24 movies, and Robert Eggars is just a great writer and director.
Just finished The Lighthouse. Very good. Batshit crazy, great cinematography and that foghorn is enough to drive anyone mad.
Like you said, 2 brilliant performances from Defoe and Pattinson. He's come a long way from those Twishite films.
Whats an A24 movie?

Just watched The Trial of the Chicago Seven, on Netflix.

Very good and 50 years on from the trial I’ve a good mind to throw this in the political thread. There’s a good choice in there that it would sit in comfortably.

But purely as a film, very well paced, very interesting story, sequenced in a way that makes revelations, with building suspense whether you know the story of what happened in 1968-69 in Chicago or not.

Good cast. Well acted.

Really liked it.

What an actor Willem Dafoe is, I just can't put into words how good he is in the Lighthouse, of course the film was made to look old being in black and white with a squashed camera lens.

A24 is a production company, they make films the big studios won't make.
Often times very good films.
I just watched another one called Hereditary.
Brilliant.
Just Google A24.

The Witch is still my favourite of theirs though.
