Last Film You Saw

Looks good,cheers
Available via Amazon as Video on Demand.

It's dark. There's a scene they did (Uncensored) that took Fairbrass a few days to recover from. Very interesting... *No spoilers*.

The director (Gerard Johnson) has done a couple of other very good British films (Hyena & Tony - both currently available on Amazon Prime)

Uncut Gems

Sandler should take on serious roles more often. I preferred this to the Safdie Brothers previous film, Good Time. 8/10.

Godfather I on BBC two on Sunday.

Every time I watch it, I end up hating Michael more and more. His little darling Kay please forgive me I need you in the end scene? Does he even know what he really thinks and feels? What a sad and hollow man.

Poodle metal is not my sort of music in any way shape or form but a mate of mine lent me the book a few years ago and it was a wild ride, some of their debauchery was insane
Hair rock.

I quite like the music. I was taken to the USA late 80's to live for seven years, and this was popular during my schooling years.

It's very, very simple music, but enjoyable. I reckon these lads had a great time doing it, and fair play.

I remember having a Budweiser ( probably about two), skinny dipping and hearing Helter Skelter blaring from someone's truck and falling over face first into my friend's cousin's naked titittes. My first experience of drinking - aged 15 in Missouri. Pathetic.

I need to get hold of that book.

however, I thought the ending was a bit meh and I would score it a 7/10 and say it was not as good as BHD for me.
I think the ending was as it was because it wasn't really a story in the way that's Black hawk Down was.
I see it almost as a kind of "day in the life" of Iraq at that period. And the ending was a continuation.
It didn't have the touch of Hollywood that Black hawk Down had but I honestly feel for its reality and the fact that you felt that you were actually in that city at that time gives it extreme credibility.
The ability of the director and actors to create that feeling for the viewer, in my eyes makes it easily as good an effort as Black hawk down.

That's just my own personal view of course, it's down to people's own opinion.

Watched safety last night. True story of a young guy in America trying to look after his family whilst doing a football scholarship. Worth a watch

Edit, rewatched falling down the other evening, that film doesn't age in fact gets better with every watch

Black christmas 2019. 1/10.

A rare film that has no redemable qualities. Absolutely nothing. Zilch.
An insult to the 2 previous versions of Black christmas.
If you like the previous two, don't let curiosity get the better of you. Avoid.
