Been dipping back into some of the older films:

Rescue Dawn - a bit meh tbh
Remember the titans - pretty decent
Get out - thought it was OK, was expecting something a bit different.
The Hurricane - i feel like i've seen this film before, bit of a typical one from Denzel.
Street Kings - halfway through, been fairly average affair up to now.

Clash, a subtitled Egyptian thriller on Film4 last night. Its all set in the back of a police van during the 2013 uprising with members of rival factions thrown in there alongside each other in claustrophobic and violent conditions. Really good film

Dark Waters, a film starring Mark Ruffalo. Based on a true story of a tenacious lawyer taking on one of Americas Chemical industry giants Du Pont who systematically released toxic waste into the water course of West Virginia. Pretty scary stuff. Good film, well made that never gets bogged down. Ruffallo is as good as he always is. Its free on Amazon Prime for those that are interested.

Superb Iraqi film about the final days of the battle against Isis.
Stunningly realistic, shockingly abhorrent. Sub titles but well worth it.
As good as Black Hawk down imo.
8/10

I watched this a couple of nights ago.

Agreed it's a very good film for anyone into war/action films.
