Just watched this really enjoyed it Sam Mendes can do no wrong seemingly.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are both brilliant.

Now I'm someone who like to give films a try no matter the genre and that includes musicals...

"In the Heights" is not something I can manage! I lasted 30mins with the film. I've never known one that has a song and dance every 2 mins (if that!)!

I might have to give it another shot in a few months but, right now, the thought of it makes me shudder!

That's certainly an idea! Trouble is with music concerts they basically stand still and aren't mooching around the streets of wherever!

It's very jarring with the amount of songs (in the first 30 mins) as one expects a lull for at least 5 mins before another whole street sings and dances!

However I will try your suggestion at some point!
