Last Film You Saw

Bravo to Bob Odenkirk (Saul) for his alternate role with a great cameo appearance from his dad played by non other than christopher Lloyd (Jim Ignatowski out of Taxi)

Every action film encompasses ridiculous feats of endurance, barrels rolls to die for and the the ability to dodge bullets by the bucketful and this film's no different. I thought Jason Bourne was good but this chap has ideas well above his station:

Oh my days and nights and we clapped until we could clap no more .. Whatever you do don't take the film too seriously and just sit back and enjoy the action! We scored it 9/10

Nobody

The Batman. Visually the best Batman film there has ever been. I think I still prefer Nolans world, but Pattinson is superb, I'd say 8.5/10 is fair

You must have seen the nuance in performance others, seemingly, didn't see on here that called him crap!

Nolan had time to build his world, so I can only think what we have, yet, to see from Reeves!

Watched for the second time, a couple of weeks ago, got the benefit of a better viewing angle and a better attention span.

It’s not a masterpiece or as good as the joker but it isn't a bad movie by any means.

The love story between Batman and Cstwoman is the most convincing I've seen in a Batman film.

The narration by Bruce Wayne in Batman's voice doesn't work for the most part. Can see the rationale for having it at the end with Penguin looking into the ruined city and there not being any dialogue but doesn't explain why it has to be Batman.

Maybe Bigga's interpretation comes in here and explains that. Possibly Wayne has dissociation with his own identity and only way to appear confident is through the Batman?

7.5 for Entertainment value. It is long film and needs that length to create suspense. But it isn't a film you can enjoy without giving it your full attention.

8.5 for artistic and stylistic purposes.

Can't be arsed going back to find the ridiculous post, but the rant about it being "a film simply about a man wearing his underwear on the outside and hitting people" was just something I took as hysterical attention seeking from the intellectual troll, I found it mildly amusing but more sad and pathetic if I'm honest.

The same troll who is too cowardly to post downstairs anymore because of his awful take to do with #45.

And this Batman doesn't even wear outside underpants with the suit.

Watched the latest Batman film last night. It was okay, nothing more than that, in my opinion. At least my blood pressure stayed stable, which it wouldn't have done if I'd watched "The World's Greatest Club" getting a chasing.

I watched "The Seasoning House" which is about an eastern european Brothel and a deaf and mute girls struggle.

It was a hard watch but decent acting and plot.

I thought it was great, more of a solid detective film akin to Batman's roots. There's more work in this to articulate his inner struggles, not just the fact that he's upset his mum and dad were killed but more specifically how he views his legacy. Also taking it back to a different type of Batman than we're used to, we don't really see much of him as Bruce Wayne and he's def not the usual type of playboy who's flirting his money everywhere. I thought it was excellent.

Side note, i thought Zoe Kravitz was realyl good as catwoman as well.

Where does Robin fit into this universe?
