Last Film You Saw

I've decided that I am going to work my way through all of Mike Leighs films, many of which I have seen already. I have just watched 'Naked' (1993). Basically the story of an apparently nihilistic Mancunian adrift in London. It is a tough watch at times (not boring but unpleasant in a voyeuristic way) and there were some points where I nearly gave up. Not everyones cup of tea but a wonderful film nonetheless.
Totally agree, as for being a tough watch I put it in the same category as Requiem for a Dream which is the toughest watch I’ve ever experienced.

Top Gun: Maverick.
I sometimes find myself critiquing zombie movies for not being realistic, lol. I liked the movie also and wasn't really thinking too much about what was going to be realistic or not. I haven't been to a movie in the theater since 2016 there's so much garbage being put out lately that the big screen has been on my ignore list. This movie brought me back to the theater at least for one day. Next time i will just rewatch it at home with my firestick https://www.firesticktricks.com/jailbreak-fire-stick.html just because i can.

Finally got to see Top Gun tonight. Absolutely fucking immense. Better than the original which I love more than most.

That's what cinema is all about.

Say what you want about Tom Cruise but he's the best at what he does.
