Sounds great. It's fucking shite, could have been a great film, the subject is fascinating.

The film prompted me to look up Harriet Tubman, what an incredible woman, and sad that not many people know who she was and what she did.

I wasn't aware of her story prior to the film. Certainly a tough lady who was dogged in her quest.

Joe Bell. Didn’t have a clue what is was about, just saw Mark Wahlberg and thought it might be worth watching.
As I said didn’t know anything about the story - there’s a complete knock you for six moment about a third of the way through and the ending left me in pieces.
I am 57 and a proper grump, this film blew me away.

I'd agree with 7/10, I wanted to like it more but it just felt a bit flat, the bad acting from the kids was probably the reason. If you compare it to the two IT films, the kids were completely believable as kids from the 80s, good acting all round. Watching these kids felt like you were watching an episode of are you afraid of the dark.
