Last Film You Saw

Saw Corsage in Sheffield Light cinema last week. 2 other punters. An old bloke in a dirty mac disappointed by lack of eroticism and an old lady with a HUGE tub of popcorn.

Subtitled Austrian/Luxembourg period drama, hugely entertaining and a bit touching. 8/10.

I saw this advertised the other day, now I’m not for one moment saying my finger’s on the pulse with goings on in the wider world, but when they said what he was trying to do, l couldn’t believe I was only just hearing about it, maybe I should get out more, but look forward to watching it and hoping your 6.6/10 is you being hard to please ;-).
Ha, definitely not being hard to please, and without wanting to ruin your experience in advance, I just found a couple parts a tad cheesy, but that was only considering the, rather impressive, subject matter. He's an incredible bloke.

Wow you lasted that long
I got through the whole thing. It was shit.

Avatar Way of water - Bang average until the last hour or so which was amazing 6/10
Banshees of Irisherin - Absolutely loved it. Barry Keoghan is going to be a proper star 8/10

Bank of Dave - A true(ish) story of a chap called Dave Fishwick from Burnley who wanted (still trying) to set up a new bank to support local people/business in his area 6.6/10*

*The real story is far more impressive

Saw him on the TV yesterday. Seems quite the character.
"I had this money from selling minibuses, and the banks all stopped lending suddenly. So I thought that I could do that."

Cheers bud and yes I was aware it’s been used before , my point really was that I seem to have heard it far more with more recent programmes for some reason.

Dortmund have a lot to answer for!

Maybe it's out of copyright? Music copyright is a bit complicated back then, but Hammerstein died in 1960, so if it was 60 years, it would be the last 2 years.

I saw that as well! Not heard of him before but I do remember seeing the name all over Turf Moor a while back?
