Last Film You Saw

Cocaine Bear - was a slog in general with a few funny moments 4/10

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - enjoyed this as a Skandi crime thriller but in English. Rooney Mara still looks fit despite their best efforts. 8/10

Fiver on the app at Great Northern in town
Dolby Cinema is on another level imo and worth the extra ££s especially for the blockbusters.

I think the Odeon at the Warehouse is closing at the end of the year. They are going to build a couple of apartment tower blocks on the site.

They made a bad call giving up the Printworks cinema in hindsight. Maybe they build one near the Etihad one day in the future.

The Odeon in Oldham (3 mins walk from tram stop) has £5 'saver' tickets as does Vue Printworks via the 'Fever' app.

Amadeus 8/10.
Story of Mozart, couldnt help get angry with Mozart for falling in the wrong choices leading to his own demise. Arahams was awesome, his two parts young and old were amazing. Way better watching second time round, cant help but to love/hate both main characters. Hulce was brilliant too.
Watched it recently too. It was great but as you say it was infuriating to watch such a waste from both characters.

LOLA (Out 7 April)

Intriguing idea of a machine invented by a young woman in the 1930s that can see broadcasts from the future. War means it can get a military use. POV of her sister who records events with a movie camera. When it all goes wrong it enables a German invasion. All in black and white, mix of the home movies and manipulated contemporary newsreels (Hitler on the Mall). Gimmicky but a really strong storyline.

Oh, and Braverman plays Oswald Mosley. (I made that bit up.)
