Just watching John Wick (I must be one of the few who haven't seen it). One of those "disengage your brain and enjoy" films.

This is basically just a slasher movie. The earlier version (1962) with Gregory Peck and an amazing performance by Robert Mitchum was a classic. Both actors had minor roles in the remake.

I personally wouldn't call it a slasher movie but de Niro's acting is so good in this.
