Re watched Gran Torino earlier, absolutely brilliant. Both moving and funny, it'll be a sad day when Clint Eastwood finally shuffles off. Anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend.

Good film I agree, but Clint was the only good actor in it.

Agree with this review. Absolute generic rubbish, a very poor remake of a film that didn't need a remake. I'm surprised Jake G agreed to do this. I gave up after 1.5 hours.

Critical drinker is the reviewer he is spot on with this and most things about tv and film these days.

I thought the actress who played the young Korean girl was very good.

There's an Avengers 5 no name yet in 2026 and 2027 there is one called Avengers: Secret Weapon! So don't know where it's heading

Ferrari - looks good, pretty well acted, but overall all a bit of a 'why. Driver is far better than I expected, but all seemed a bit unlinked - the key character is that of Penelope Cruz.

Moonfall - Emmerich destroys the planet. Again. And again no-one seems too bothered by the mass devastation. As for why the planet gets a good destroying, that's just utter baloney.

I said the same in the 70s, I watched the first one then rushed to the video shop ( who remembers them ) to get the second one, loved em both.
