Just catching the tail end of "Arrival" (seen it a couple of times before). A good film; I'm just not sure it's as good as it may well think it is. Amy Adams, though; proof that not every ginger is a creature of the night.

Oh it definitely is as good as it thinks it is. Superb film. But yes Amy Adams, damn fine.Just catching the tail end of "Arrival" (seen it a couple of times before). The Girl Next Door - Risky Business type escapade with a selection of really fit ladies. Kills 90 minutes and a couple of half decent laughs along the way 6/10

Star Trek the motion picture Directors cut, 4k restoration, looks fantastic compared to the old print, but it’s nit aged well, wooden acting and script, 6/10
The Revenant stunning cinematography and haunting sound, the bair attack especially is gruesome 8/10
Sicario top film again with a brilliant soundtrack 8/10 I really hope they finish the trilogy.

The Beekeeper, never have so many men and woman stood around holding guns and knives just waiting to be beaten up by a Bald cockney. Special mention to Jeremy Irons for just taking the pay cheque. 3/10
Barbie, beneath the colorful sets, poor gags, cringeworthy script and pretty people claiming they are so much more than eye candy at least it had an important message.Never ever ever make a film about a girls doll it will turn out shite. Lesson learnt.

Watched Directors Cut of Apocalypse Now having not seen it for years. Superb. 9/10.
Knocked a mark off because Martin Sheen not entirely believable as a special forces assassin. Great film.

" One night in Millstreet" at the cinema today.
More of a documentary but very enjoyable.
If you like sports movies, this is a good one.
Its about the Collins Eubanks fight and their personalities but even more about how a world title fight ended up in the middle of nowhere.
Eubanks is at the top of his " uniqueness " arriving on a motorbike.
The man who owned the equestrian stadium was shitting himself that Eubanks would do serious damage to Collins and that the nearest hospital was over one hour away.
More of a documentary but very enjoyable.
