Last Film You Saw

With it being that time of year decided to watch Hereditary, allegedly one of the best movies from the horror genre over the last 10yrs.

Underwhelming to say the least and with a real WTF ending.

At best it was OK, acting was good, musical score and cinematography but just seems to fall off a cliff about 30 mins from the end. 6/10.

Wild Robot, like a cross between Iron Giant and Big Hero 6, it’s good but not the film of the year that many seem to think it is. 6.5/10
I saw it last weekend was really looking forward to it. Felt really let down. I know it's for kids but it just felt really babyish. The only thing that rescued it was, it looks gorgeous, like watching a living painting.

Took a look at a couple of films over weekend. Both shite.
Classified - watched it to the end but has to be one of the worst “action” films ever. Ridiculous plot, low budget action scenes. Just piss poor. 1/10
The End We Start From - Eco-disaster/climate change film. An England slowly flooding through incessant rain. Mother and newborn baby trying to head to safety as society slowly comes apart. A cliched BBC film so it’s weak men and strong women. The female lead was good tbf. Film was incredibly dull and gloomy - and so boring that we bailed about 45 mins in. Upto to that point not a single boat/dinghy to be seen and a plot line full of holes. 2/10

I watched a half decent stream but PIXAR films are usually stunning anyway.

Woman of the Hour - Based on the true story of an American serial killer who ends up on The Dating Game (Blind Date US style) in the 1970's. Creepy without being gratuitous in its portrayal of the violence/murder/rape 8/10
