Thanks, saved me the bother of watchingWatched Reagan last night. Very dull (no murders, nudity or space aliens etc). Sentimental portrayal, ….too sentimental and too long. Good performance from Quaid to be fair.

Oh my god what have I just watched? Bloody bonkers. Visually beautiful and fun in parts, but my is it weird. I'm no prude either, but I thought the amount of sex in it spoilt it somewhat.

It's definitely much much bigger in America than here. Although it not my absolute favourite Christmas film (that goes to Home Alone, followed by Its a Wonderful Life) it however does completely nail what it felt like to be a kid at Christmas wanting a specific toy.
