Summer Hours (2008)
After their mother's death, three siblings must decide what to do with the family summer house and its valuable contents. This subtle French drama from writer-director Olivier Assayas is light on plot but rich in conversation and themes--among the latter, the effects of globalization on families, and the relationship between life and art/valuables. I suppose some people will find the movie a big nothingburger, but I loved it. Charles Berling, Jérémie Renier and a blonde Juliette Binoche play the siblings.
