Last Film You Saw

The Big Sleep - 1946 noir detective story featuring Humphrey Bogart as private eye Philip Marlowe and Lauren Bacall as Vivian Sternwood. A fun watch.

8.5/10
Although the movie is very good, it isn't on the same level as The Maltese Falcon. My (small) gripe with The Big Sleep is that the plot is full of detail and somewhat hard to follow. At several points in the movie I didn't quite understand what precisely was going on, even though the main gist was clear

Watched Caddo Lake last night and really enjoyed it. Very atmospheric. It’s not an easy film to watch and the storyline is challenging in terms of understanding what you’re seeing. Everything comes together though but we are going to rewatch it to try and join all the dots !

Caddo Lake (2024) is essentially the movie version of the German mind-bending TV series Dark (2017)

Human Centipede 1 and 2. First one was crap enough, second one was a pile of shit (literally) think I’ll skip part 3 it sounds even worse.

Speak No Evil - Fairly generic psychological horror, might try the original to compare
From what I can remember, it's been years since I saw them, part 3 is the dirtier, grimier, grottier of the 3, masturbation with sandpaper etc
