Just seen Afflicted. It's a fresh new take on the found footage genre and while it's not particularly scary it gets your attention and there's plenty laughs too.
IMDB states its not out till July but it's available via torrent. Think it's done the rounds at Frightfest etc

Watched Pompeii the other day, very watchable, not quite as bad as the reviews suggest.

Its not new but have you seen "Near Dark" one of the best vampire films ever imo.

Great film, almost as good as stakeland

Staying on the petrelli theme, just watched one called kiss of the damned, a bit arty for some but a solid 7/10

You'll love it bob, loads of bonking and biting (:
