Last Film You Saw

Watched The Hand That Rocks the Cradle for the first time the other night.
I vaguely recall this being held up as a real thriller when I was growing up, my Mum used to say it was one of the scariest she'd seen.

Very dated now, maybe it was scary when it first came out but it hasn't stood up too well.

Survivalist.
after the fall of civilization movie. Gritty and bleak and pretty realistic. Dialogue is pretty sparse the story revolves around one mans story on a makeshift tiny farm.
A decent watch "to be sure"

Straight outta Compton - been holding off watching this but its been on my list for a while, really liked it, spent the whole film thinking the lad playing Ice Cube looked just like him, only to find out its his son afterwards!! If you have a vague liking of hip hop its a must watch, also good if you dont, you might understand and respect the genre afterwards a little more. Probably painted the lads a little nicer than they actually were in real life at the time but thats to be expected when they produced the film. Fuck da police. 8/10

the strange case of benjamin button strange film I liked it
Into the wild amazing film
captain america civil war was ok killed a couple of hours

X-Men Apocalypse

40min into it and it feels closer to the cheesy first 2 and 3 (a bit) than the more recent darker offerings.
That said Magneto gives a hint it will not all stay happy clappy.

Not happy about the shitty romance hollywood feels the need to squeeze in, who the hell do they think they are catering for with that shit.
Women can like comic super hero films you know without needing a bit of weepy shite.

Baddie seems decent but the plot in general seems a bit thin and hollywood, worth a watch? yeah nd as i write this it is getting better.

All The Way - new film about Lyndon Johnson becoming President after Kennedy was killed and his efforts to bring in the civil rights act. Bryan Cranston plays LBJ and he is brilliant
