Last Film You Saw

"Suicide Squad".

Well, what can I say...?? I, mostly try to see the positives in films and the casting choices for 'Amanda Waller', 'Deadshot', 'Diablo' and, of course, 'Bats' were solid.

But, fook, the dialogue writing was SHOCKING as well as the plot line.

The interpretation of 'Harley Quinn' and 'Joker' were FAAAAR from my imaginings and I accept other actors view on characters, mainly. Leto and Robbie were absolute tosh! Talk about ham-fisted from Leto, taking the role way way too seriously! To think I was looking forward to seeing his take on the role!!

Robbie didn't know how to be 'Quinn', clearly. Not nearly ditzy or nutty enough.

Can see why it got a massive pasting in the cinemas!

Just hoping Affleck can do his 'Bat' film directing justice (no pun intended!) and get this franchise back on track!!!

Just watched 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' brilliant film.

I started watching it but turned it off five minutes in. I'll give it another go when I'm in the mood for it.

Captain America Civil War. I got to about 10 minutes before the end and realised I didn't actually care and went to bed and had a wank instead.

The latest Bourne movie. Not bad, but pretty much the same as all the others. I knew Lumen was going to die as soon as I saw the latest young, fit, female CIA woman. Same fucking formula every Bourne film and it's well past it's sell by date.

The big short last night

Eddie the Eagle tonight

Both great films for different reason.
Eddie was a really uplifting feel good film whilst the other was a drama about how the American mortgage market collapsed to cause the 2007 banking crash. With Christian bale being superb.
Christan Bale was very good in that film.

Lights out - don't normally get scared but this one had me reaching for my biggest teddy bear to hide behind. Liked the concept of it and it didn't drag on. 7 for me

Beverley hills cop - watched it with my lads and although dated reminded me just how funny Eddie Murphy was in his prime, kids really enjoyed it and there wasn't a single bit of CGI added. 8 for Murphy

I think it was Ironman 3, all gash in my eyes but I do enjoy them. RDJ is hilarious as the a$$hole, is Gwenith Paltrow the most useless actress ever??? I cant believe she bought an Oscar because she is a very poor actress on so many levels. She sucks so much, she should be on her knees.

Really enjoyed the big short as well, crazy really when you see how unregulated and criminal the mortgage market was, no wonder it collapsed.

Whilst it was all corrupt the thing that brought the banks down was the 'betting' on the markets.
Personally I also think betting on the stock market or financial products should also be made illegal.

Of all those involved only one person was tried!

Lights out; 7.5/10.
Scared the shit out of me in the first 20 mins and was very watchable, but it didn't keep up the scare factor in the last half hour. Too many 'horror' films do this these days.
