Not watched a decent new horror movie for years. There's no real build up and it seems like they just have to grab your attention in the first half an hour or so or you won't stay with it.

Keep trying to get 12 yr daughter and 16 yr old son to watch Hunt for the Wilderpeople as it looks really good and had great reviews, sort of family film night but daughter just wants to watch bloody pixar films and son thinks it'll be gash because he's all grown up now and watches Mr Robot.
Mrs isn't interested, i'll have to watch it on my todd.

It's ok. Expected more though to be honest. Your children will probably like it though and definitely worth a watch.

Liked the first and third, second one with Cumberbumberbumberbach as Khan was a bit shit, not a patch on Wrath of Khan IMO

No Star Trek film is as good as The Wrath of Khan. It's the one they are all measured against. Brilliant film, I must have watched it about 50 times when it came out. I could probably recite the script.
