The line you quoted was a direct rip off from Moby Dick.
So Ridley Scott and whoever did Wrath of Khan both ripped off Moby Dick?

Not sure about the bladerunner quote but Capt Ahab's quote is this
"Aye, aye! and I’ll chase him round Good Hope, and round the Horn, and round the Norway Maelstrom, and round perdition’s flames before I give him up.."
I don't there can be much doubt where Star Trek got it from.
Now you have put it up, it is very obvious, I think I was so young that I had Moby Dick read to me, so its been a long time now.
I just knew Wrath of Khan couldnt copy a film that it came out before is all.
I'm not arsed its still a great line by Khan, you and Zin are a pair of picky fuckers ;-)
I love it mate, it's a fantastic film. They nicked more than quote from Moby Dick though.
"To the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee" Sound familiar?
Lol Khan's last words when his face is all messed up - cant quite believe they got away with that one.
Still a great film. Ricardo Montalban was perfect for it. Hard to believe it was the same guy from Fantasy Island.
And how fit Kirstie Alley was!!
"Sauce for the goose Mr Saavik" At least the reboot had Alice Eve playing Carol Marcos.
Trevor's daughter certainly is fine. Doesnt make up for Bumbersnatch Cumberland, who despite being a fine actor, just will never be Khan
I think I might watch Wrath later.
