Last Film You Saw

Suicide Squad. Heard mixed reviews but I enjoyed it although I am a sucker for a cheesy storyline and a fit bird with short shorts on so it was always going to be a winner for me. I reckon they will milk it for a couple of follow on movies with the ending the way it was. Also thought Joker was very well played but i've always been a fan.

The Deer Hunter - Shit, complete shite, slow and gives me no insight about the perils of war and how it can affect people espesh in a small town more than i already imagined. Three hours i shall never get back, complete toss. I would have done as well watching a complete version of fucking Aida. It has a few good scenes but not enough to shake the tedium i felt throughout the whole film.

It may have been good then or for a while after, now it feels dated as other films show what it does just as well in a context more relevant to me i.e. Iraq/Afghanistan etc.
Yep, can only presume it must have struck a chord for some viewers at the time - but it defo left me non-plussed.

Me too. I watched it last night and had seen all the reviews on here slating it so I wasn't expecting much. I enjoyed it, but I'm not a comic nerd so I don't have a clue how it holds up against it's origins.
Sunshine on Leith - I never thought I would enjoy a musical that didn't have Jake and Elwood Blues starring in it, but I enjoyed it immensely. Favourite bits including 'Lets get married' and the Trainspotting homage.
You have to be soulless not to enjoy this film.
