Thanks for the link. Seems like a wonderful brave lady. I watched the film with my 11 year old nephew who also enjoyed it very much. He was looking at me a little strange at the end as I was a bit choked by it. A very moving film. The young lad Lewis Macdougall is a very fine actor.

I watched the Criterion Collection release of Hiroshi Teshigahara's "Woman of the Dunes" this weekend. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Films this good just don't get made that much any more.
