Last Film You Saw

Ah, very interesting!
Re the film and ending,
I agree that was what I was thinking too, but consider this:
I can't find anywhere what the name of the planet in Covenant actually is other than a crew member calling it "planet 4" around the star it was orbiting.
Now when I was watching it, the position of the engineers ship that David and Shaw nicked off with was the same as the one in the original Alien, and it seemed to me that when David took Captain Shithispants to where he'd created the face hugger pods was in that ship, so naturally I thought somehow the planet was actually LV-426. I thought this was bang on when they launched the truck out of the back door when they were escaping, because im sure it was called the "terraforming truck" so I thought if it contains some sort of device that changes a planet's environment it may explain why the weather conditions were different in Alien. Plus Davis said storms can last weeks as well.

What do you think?

Thanks, I'll check that out. Is it on YouTube?

If so I might watch that and Covenant again back to back.
Nah I don't think it's on youtube, you might find it on Kodi but if not, I'm sure if you google you'll find a way to get it though. I didn't spot a lot of deleted scenes in tbh(I probably should have watched the original first again but it felt more like watching it fresh which is what I wanted, very well edited really if there's a lot more than those I noticed), it starts with one and flows better from there because they've removed alot of the unnecessary bits and yes it probably would fit back to back a lot better if you felt like it when the blu-ray comes out.

Also the terraforming truck crashing to the planets surface destroying the atmosphere that already exists I'm not sure about that.

I'm a bit hazy on the latest installment(only seen it once last night) but
The Planet in Prometheus was in the LV system but not LV426. (I remember reading this from the last film.) Now jump to Aliens and LV426 and that is deffo a crashed Engineers craft in the wastelands, But David has taken off in the terraforming ship Covenant. He now has to start the terraforming mission get back to paradise and bring back a Engineers ship...It doesn't scan right.

I meant the planet in Covenant not Prometheus!

Hope you closed the curtains.

The thing is that it was less porny than I imagined it to be, she was rarely seen bobbing about or surreptitiously launching her goods in your face. Maybe that might be a reason for some of the more primal lads on here not to watch it :)

The planet is only known as "Planet 4" in the film as it's an unchartered planet. They were originally heading to Origae-6 and at the end of the film David continues on the same mission to Origae-6. Ridley Scott has already revealed as such that in the next film Alien awakening, there will be all out war in his words "war of the worlds style" between 4 factions assuming this is the Weyland Yutani corp (Marines), the engineers, the army of Xenomorphs that David will create from the 2000 + colonists on the covenant and ????. I hope that helps in some way and I apologise if this is unwanted info (Spoiler) for any alien fans.

Churchill Brian Cox is very good in the lead 7/10 don't know how true the story is I'll have to do some research

The Circle.
Croc of shite.
Why the fuck did the great Tom Hanks sign up for this tripe, is he skint!!?

Next one was My Name is Lenny.
Decent film once it gets going although the lad who plays Lenny looks a bit like Fred West on a mix of steroids and wizz.

Just got back from Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Oh wow, fantastic!
I thought the trailer had shown far too much but no.

A great comedy/superhero film, the character feels completely liberated in an original and modern story not the usual origin tale that ties in really well with the ongoing MCU.
Surprises galore, and Tom Holland is absolutely perfect as a young Peter Parker.
Fun from start to finish.

Recommended. 9/10
