That and all the singing.

I avoided that musical for the reason of all the singing. I mean who cuts about bursting into song at the drop of a hat when a few sentences would suffice.

Apart from Oliver and Scrooge with Albert Finney, I find it highly offensive. Everybody knows the victorians burst into song regularly, especially the working classes to take the edge off scurvy. Fact!

Haha. told the wife and kids we're watching a family christmas movie last sunday and I put this on. They all enjoyed it (kids are teenagers)

V for Vendetta - didn't think I'd like it after the first 1/2-hour or so - but Portman carried the film; a brilliant performance; one of my favorite in the comic fiction genre.
