Last Film You Saw

Just watched Tenet....can someone please explain ???

Yeah Nolan is a dick with sound mixing so it might be a good film if you could hear half the dialogue. He got away with it in Batman because he got rid of music when you normally get it to add tension but not here. Silly twat said he was surprised people were so conservative about sound. Yeah hearing the story is quite old fashioned numb nuts.

3/10

Apparently It's the story of a secret agent who learns to manipulate the flow of time to prevent an attack from the future that threatens to annihilate the present.
He fails his mission and is captured and tortured. To protect himself and his allies, he takes a cyanide pill. As it turns out, the pill is fake, and this is an invitation to join a new intelligence agency. He passed, and now is part of a top-secret assignment known as Tenet.
This brings him to a secret facility where he has to learn inversion. When you are inverted, you move backward in time, though from your perception, you are moving as normal.

There you go, easy!

American Pie 1, 2 and 3 (Wedding). The soundtracks!...nostalgia is a powerful drug. They were the movies of my youth and I still thoroughly enjoy them.

1999 had American Pie, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Matrix and American Beauty just to name a few. Don’t get that from Hollywood anymore. Took it for granted as an 8 year old.
The American Pie sequels were shit; a bad case of Police Academy syndrome, milking something for all (and more) that it's worth.

Never been a fan of Nolan outside of the 'Bats' trilogy and he even stretched my patience there.

Dunno what the big love-in is with him as all his films are pretty flawed.

I can understand that point of view. But the first 3 (original cast) were a formative part of my childhood and remain a nostalgic and cherished memory. I think American Pie The Wedding was the first 15+ movie I saw at the cinemas. My dad took me and my brother and he couldn’t hold back the laughter even though he was trying to be the mature influence on us. Fun and innocent times.
