Last Film You Saw

A River Runs Through It

First time I saw it I added fly fishing in Montana to my bucket list. Some 30+ years later it's still on my list. Film is ok, Pitt is meh, scenery is just breathtaking. I'll get to Montana one day.

Watched Maestro last night.
Brilliant acting from Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan, beautifully shot and Cooper captured Bernstein perfectly - uncanny likeness no doubt with a few prosthetics.
But what a disappointing film !
Rambling, disorganised, confused - no real narrative beyond his bisexuality and his wife turning a blind eye at least at first. Made a fascinating character into quite a boring spectacle.
3/10 - an opportunity missed.
Brilliant acting, beautifully shot but you still say it was shite ???

The Accountant: A very watchable action thriller starring Ben Affleck

Christian Wolff is a mathematics savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Using a small-town CPA office as a cover, he makes his living as a freelance accountant for dangerous criminal organizations. With a Treasury agent (J.K. Simmons) hot on his heels, Christian takes on a state-of-the-art robotics company as a legitimate client. As Wolff gets closer to the truth about a discrepancy that involves millions of dollars, the body count starts to rise.
