Good film, rural Ireland looks such a beautiful place.

It was sunny for the past few days so everywhere you go is gorgeous. It'll be raining tomorrow night and it will return to the usual bleakness :-)

Nice to see a war film with the Germans being slaughtered by the British and not the Yanks for a change. Give the book a read, fascinating to see the SOE formed by people who were either mildly eccentric, amusingly bonkers or totally psychotic.........

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Being an FOC I remember going to the cinema to see the Charlton Heston original in 1968. Obviously a classic. The sequels made in the 1970‘s were okay not brilliant. The new Apes films are great, and this one is also pretty good. Bit slow in first hour or so, but then zips along at a fair pace.

Zero Dark Thirty

Absolutely tremendous watch, which starts with telephone calls from the poor people stuck in the twin towers. To how the CIA with a lot of ups and downs finally track Bin Liden, and then seal Team 6 misson to kill him. I love films like this.
