Last Film You Saw

Saw Small Things Like These (another very good acting performance from Cillian Murphy) and Kneecap back to back.
Former quite dramatic and shows what a shitshow the Catholic Church was, is and probably will be.
Latter some enjoyable scenes and it made me realise I can listen to some rapmusic. Just a fun movy.

Wicked

Thought it was ok. Glossy enough, nice vocals etc slow build that didn't really enthuse me til the last 15 minutes or so. Erivo was the standout for me.

Absolution, Liam Neeson plays an ageing Boston gangster who tries to reconnect with his family and fix the mistakes from the past, but his criminal life soon threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

Quite watchable and enjoyable 7/10

Just watched The Lords Of Flatbush.
Had never heard of it but was scrolling through films to watch - a ''coming of age'' film from 1974 featuring Henry The Fonz Winkler (pre Fonz) and Slyvester Stallone - playing teenagers in a Greaser gang in the mid 1950's. Kind of Grease without the singing and dancing.
What a pile of shite and that's not including Winkler being 29 and Stallone being 28 and playing high school kids!
Amazingly Winkler was offered (but turned down) the role to play Danny in Grease 4 years later - another high school character, when he would have been 33.

Abigail on Amazon Prime - when I watched, it was the most popular film on Amazon.

It wasn't horrible - and acting was OK. But, for me, nothing special.

7/10
