Very disappointed, very long and got bored half way through. The action scenes just weren't exciting and the cgi was very off putting.

Forts in Covid release at the cinema at IMAX was so hard to follow the sound was all over, very hard to understand. Then I watched at him with subtitles still didn’t have a fucking clue!

I wasn't expecting Gladiator II to be much, given the review. I enjoyed it though.

I've always felt the first one was grossly overrated. The storyline is only ok and ending is ridiculous. But there's nice fighting scenes, costumes and production value.

The second is just as ridiculous but still glitzy.

Both would have been much much better if they were just about Gladiators. No love shit. Like Papiliiion type struggles.

I'd score both 6.5.

Having looked at the IMDb page, it's a French cast, so presumably they thought there should be a modern French language film of a French book.

If it's anything like the recent Three Musketeers films, it'll be very good (I've seen the first one, and have the second one waiting time to do so).
