The OP is about "local" not the Manchester boundary and as I've said, the centre of Stockport is closer to the Etihad than the centre of Wythenshawe

But Reddish is about as close to the Etihad as you can get, outside of Manchester (and as previously mentioned, much closer than some parts of Manchester).

Ha just checked Nedum born in Nigeria but brought up in Manc so still a Manc as far as I am concerned !
