I live in Bucharest now but popped home this weekend. I can't recall enjoying a meal quite so much as the meat and potato pie, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce that I got from my local chippy. Washed down with a large mug of tea and mopped up with bread and butter, it was bloody lovely!

all accompanied by a Chateau Neuf du Pape
