Yes there are a lot of ex pats who live on the Costa Del Sol,but they act and behave under Spanish law and rules,most of them with respect,otherwise they'll get twatted,does that happen in London ? No and No I think you will find the answer to both those questions,there's the difference

How many of these ex pats have bothered to learn Spanish? Or send their kids to a Spanish school? Or bother to learn to cook, let alone eat Spanish food?

I've travelled extensively in this area and the answer is less than 5%.

Well I can't speak for the whole of the Costa,but a few particular areas I've been to,mostly all ex pats do speak the lingo,and have sent their kids to schools there,and consume a bit of the old paella no doubt,I was with the Guiri Army last week,and all of um sang Malaga songs in Spanish,so like I say my experience is that they do

I don't disagree that this should have been broadcast. I was merely stating this is the sort of thing that used to be associated with channel 5 or ITV etc. That this racist propaganda is broadcast on the nations state broadcaster shames us all. All I can say is thank god for immigration. The sooner attitudes like those shown on this programme are extinct along with the people holding such attitudes the better country we will all have.

Christ, behave yourself. I'm sure if they made the same programme in Longsight there'd be plenty of Asians saying they wouldn't want their daughters or sons coming home with a white, or black partner. If it makes your blood boil then don't watch it, I didn't because I knew what it would be.

Oh, as for the BBC being right wing, the right would make a good case for this programme being made by rabid Lefties as they were deliberately showing whites up as being bad. Why not make a programme in a predominantly Asian, or black, neighbourhood and seek their opinions on whites and blacks\asians?

Propaganda? That's some paranoia mate. The general idea of programmes like this is to see how people think about certain issues. To me immigration is a good thing but it is a numbers game. People who don't seem concerned about the volume are idiots as are people who are against it completely.

Those who shout racist were on solid ground until some immigrants came from mainly white countries, now they have to go with the anti foreigner sentiment.

In a capitalist country where supply and demand is God an over supply of people doesn't benefit the current inhabitants whether they are white,black pink or blue. It also causes social issues. But the powers that be are all about the green.

Some of the English immigrants keep their head down because they are criminals and will be picked up, not for any other reason. Others dont.
