Pazamel, Could Valencia afford to turn down 50-60m at the moment??? whats worse, lose Villa or Lose your football club??? if your president is smart he will sell

Sure the Club is always more important than one player, but once again, Valencia won´t think of any deals unless all their other possibilities fails. They wouldn´t have much star players left if they sale Villa and Silva. In the last two days, part of their debts have been arranged.

I don´t dare to say that it is impossible that Villa leaves the Club in January, but it seems that the club doesn´t intend to sell him right now. Today, they have been more catherorical in that point.
Marca is not a very realible source. Anyway, it is true that Fernando Gómez has said this afternoon that they won´t sell Villa or Silva (he precisely said that in the official presentation of Valencia´s new Sponsor).

Who thinks we will announce any deals before the 1st Jan???

don't know if we WILL, but if we land a big fish we SHOULD. it'll make the medicine go down easier with the other fish on our fish list.

I agree with you mate, will help attract others but only reason I think we won't because the club love the press and the smoke screen it creates for the deals they are actually working on

If we get deal completed early before the window I don't think that we announce it to the world

If we need help signing off big players we can away show a signed contract or get them to ring the "done deal" player .... here's his number.

Imagine if we tied up the 3 superstars that are rumored early .......... Jan the first on Sky Sports News ..... Breaking News - Press conference in 30 minute at Manchester City to introduce new signing ......... 30 minutes later we show of Kaka, 40 minutes later we introduce Villa, minutes later "and to complete the the press conference we'd just like to meet our last new signing of the day .... can I introduce you to Gianluigi Buffon"
This would shock the football world and give our club and the owners world wide press coverage.

saying that the superstar player may want their own day so on the 1st it Kaka, 2nd it Villa, 3rd it Buffon same effect.

Our club now is about becoming a world wide brand not just the games we go to. It about publicity for the club and just as importantly the owner

I must say if that is whats on my telly on new years day then it will def help the cure of any hangover

true, it would utterly dominate a football news cycle at a time when it means something. Real's signing Huntelaar owned a fairly quiet news cycle.
