The referee was a disgrace, but its not the only point.

No shape... Tevez apparently is our striker - he's never bloody upfront. Lescott looks like he's running through a summer meadow until the ball comes and he shits it.

No plan, no formation, no clue.

Thats Mancini's tenure as a whole. Failed in the CC, failed in the Prem, taken away the entertainment yet we still didn't meet our targets.

I'm all for giving him time if he's showing like he knows where he's going.

Taking Johnson off and bringing Silva on, leaving Silva on the bench, refusing to manage Bellamy... poor performances week in week out (bar Liverpool) i really don't see where we're going under Mancini currently.

Expect an official warning off one of the MODS for that post...;- )

on the contrary fella....i agree ;)

Yeah i didn't see the first half, i just hate when people use stats as they hardly ever show the true picture of what happened in the match.

Yeah, it's funny, from watching I could have sworn we were moving forward and giving up possession more than last couple of weeks, but when I look at the stat sheet it says 62%. Dunno what gives.
Yeah i have seen many matches from many different teams where the final stats are completely different from what i saw if you know what i mean, the only stat that counts is the final score imo.

The comments on this messageboard calling for the managers head, slating all our new signings. The only people you need to slate is the referee for his inept performance and denying us a stonewall penalty and a mixture of Joe Hart and Kolo Toure for their cock-up, nothing more, nothing less.

We should batter teams like Blackburn, but so many of our fans simply expect for teams like them to roll over and die. Why? They came and they done what they needed to do to get a result.

Spurs drew, the rags drew and I'm sure they're not in meltdown and they don't want twitcher and whiskey noses head on a stick. Too many "burn the witch" posters on here and when there's a negative to be found, they're sure to find it.

The old City would have lost that game. We drew and were unlucky not to win. Sometimes it just doesn't go for you. That's football.
Well said. I can't understand the lack of patience amongst our fans given how long we've been crap. It beggars belief.

It happens. I just hope it's not going to become a habit of losing/drawing games we deserve to win under Mancini. Blackburn defended tenaciously, got to give them (and Big Sam) credit for that.

That's the whole point!......Iv'e watched crap for 30 years......walked in the snow in dec 82 from my house in Stockport to Maine rd when the buses were down....sat in main stand v mansfiels=d in that crappy cup competition in 99 with 2,000 city fans.........now is different.......OUR HOPES HAVE BEEN RAISED thats the difference...........you can't spend 300 million on players and still react the same to games like today than games in the past when our expectations were minimal............it is human nature that when expectations are raised, hope is given, we attract massive world wide media interest through our signings,,,,,YET we end up with the same old dross.................how can mancini lovers be suprised? How can they be calm about this? I believe it is the true fans who react the most because it is they who have watched the rubbish for years, put up with the scum winning everything and stuck by the team..........but now, when we have such hope and expectation for more......and it all stays the same on the pitch DON'T BE SUPRISED THAT PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF REACT WITH SUCH CRITICISM....It's because I eat, breathe and live for City that i do it.........

It used to be fun bluemoon...

I feel like hanging myself everytime I come on it now......

Surely give it 10 games to make an educated opinion of wether the team and Manager will be a success this season...

Nothin' to do with our totally inept first half performance then?

You only play for half a game ...... you only get half a reward !

OK - I think it's time for all the people on here who berate people like myself for being critical of Mancini to be constructive and put forward a coherent argument as to exactly how we have progressed under Mancini from last season. I doubt they will because we haven't, but i'm getting a little pee'd off with being insulted because I happen to comment upon what I see infront of me....that is.....no progression with a squad most clubs would die for......

So Mancini lovers......over to you.......i'lll watch with interest................

You'll be waiting a while for a respone I fear. Some are seemingly hell bent on backing the manager no matter what, even if it's to the detriment of the club. I'll back the team 100% but will never show blind loyalty to what I consider an incompetent (at this level) manager.

Thats what happens when your team becomes good enough to challenge for honours, you just can't afford to drop points anymore if you want to win something, thats the reason why 'The big 4' fans go over the top on their forums when they drop points, thats the world City live in now and it will probably make many on here struggle to simply enjoy football like you used to.
