My heart says I would love Martinez, Havertz and Torres. 3 young players to replace Merlin, Sane and in the long term Aguero. Even KDB, Gundogan and Mahrez arnt getting any younger.
But my head says thats too much for now. Difficult to bring in Aguero's replacement a year before he leaves and keep all 3 strikers happy. And the other 2 will cost about £130m at least. Id be suprised if we got more than Torres as an attacker this summer, when we need 2/3 defenders.

we should be going all out for edouard at celtic instead of this guy. young, quality finisher and would be available for under £30mil

When you know one is highly likely to leave at the end of the season, why bother about keeping everyone happy? It’s time to be ruthless with the strikers and create the level of competition for places where they have to be more clinical.

I believe in ruthlessnes, its how the top clubs keep on top. One thing that would be in our favour would be 5 subs and 9 on the bench, so that would give more game time for the front 3.When you know one is highly likely to leave at the end of the season, why bother about keeping everyone happy? It’s time to be ruthless with the strikers and create the level of competition for places where they have to be more clinical.
I personally think Martinez would score more goals than Augero in our team.

Yes that exact same one and i said he's been better SINCE THE RESTART, not all season.
Martinez - 2 goals 2 assists in 7 starts
Sanchez - 2 goals, 6 assists in 5 starts
