Martinez is the nearest like for like player to Aguero I have seen.

Couldn’t of said it any better myself.. Jesus is the best replacement for Sergio we could possibly wish for.. I’ll have him over pretty much anyone especially as he’s young.... in 2 years time he will be ready for sure. I just hope he gets a real chance. A full season of starting games For Gabriel that’s when you will see the best of him.. He still needs to improve but that will come. We have a superstar in him and I’m sure Pep knows that too.

This is a stupid comparison. Everyone on those United teams looked like shit and wouldn't you know it, as soon as they move on they revert to being good players.
 
One thing I have noticed around the league is that besides United only we have a team formation where goals can come from anywhere. A whole lot of other teams including Liverpool depend on one or two players for their goals. In such a fluid system do we need an urgent striker when Aguero still has a lot in his tank and Jesus will always improve. This guy looks expensive and his numbers don't leave anyone in confidence.
A stupid comparison but Aguero was tearing the La Liga when we bought him.
Still a Haaland fan!
