A 1-1 is a good result at the Lane.
with the squad we have we should win this game, we are better than them simple as that, just need to be more clinical
Again I'll reiterate (I must post this 1000 times a season) that in the Premier League it doesn't always matter how many better players you have against any opposition, when you step out on the pitch it's just XI v XI. Spurs are very good at home and have beaten teams who - like us - have had better players than them across their squad. We may wel go there and win, but don't go into it expecting it to happen. This is Premier League football, never EXPECT!

Totally agree otherwise the top 4 would beat everyone.

Key will be if Modric plays and if so what is attitude to the game will be. If he's not on song I think we will get a result.

Dont rate Modric..

Quietly confident, we thrashed them 1-0 @ eastlands, thereby breaking the perceived hoodoo, and since then we added aguero, nasri, clichy, plus dzeko is a new player now, an animal. We can only beat ourselves in this one, and we won't.

Spurs will win the 1st half, then city should do something they dont usually do come from behind.

They drew with all the top four at home last season and didn't score in two of those games. They are no stronger but we are significantly better. If we could draw there last season, even though we had a bit of a battering, we should be able to at least hold our own this season. I'm going for a 2-1 win for us.

Said earlier in the week that I'd be happy with a draw, and I still would, but my confidence is growing by the day. I think that CL draw will also have given everyone a lift and they will be buzzing.

That said, I wouldn't be putting money on any result as this is one of the most unpredictable games of the season for me. On paper we are miles better than them, but our history there suggests it will be a tough game.

Not sure Spurs have another good season in them this year though. Doesn't Redknapp usually start at clubs well, have a couple of good seasons then collapse and move on, leaving financial devastation behind him?
