I’ll admit I’m a Pogacar fan so I’m possibly biased but I can’t buy into the narrative that Vingegaard is at full fitness and is ready to defend his jersey because he stuck to Pogi’s wheel on a 2km cat 3 climb. If he’s still there at the top of the Galibier on Tuesday then I’ll believe he is but at the minute I’m a bit perplexed by what the pundits are saying
Girmay makes a bit of history, could have a lost some big names but happy for the guy.
Stage win in the Giro to go with it, hope he has a few more the next few years.
Would be surprised if Pog weren’t the strongest at this stage of the tour, but I also think that Vingegaard will get stronger during the next of couple of weeks.
Will it be enough?
We’ll see. Looks like a another great tour anyways.
