I could walk faster than the land rover. The samba never missed a beat. All the old boys in the villages were cyclists and I'd be amazed to see them halfway up a long uphill in all the gear.Bet these lads were faster ;-)

Been a great 3 weeks, overall much better entertainment than the Euros.
Pog is a machine, to pull in the last 3 stages was exceptional.
For TV purposes he could do with a fully fit rival next year, the top four in a particular order was pretty nailed on until a retirement but don't let that detract from some great racing.

Looking at the stats on a cycling forum, Pogacar's stats have been unmatched. Considerably higher/better than those produced by Vingegaard when he was winning the TDF. This is after racing all year and winning the Giro while not having a single jour sans. There's no-one who can even get close.
