What does anyone know about the EDL ?
I saw Robinson interviewed on News Night by Paxman and Paxman didn't really have a go at him.
He said he would happily have muslim members in the EDL if they wanted to join. They already have many black or other ethnic members. They have a fringe that gets boisterous and drunk and noisy but is that any different than most parties or groups ?
He said that he wasn't attacking Islam. He was just attacking the 7th Century interpretation of the Koran that led to a 'significant' section of the muslim community believing that if a girl bleeds she is up for sex and hence all the past, current and future scandals with the grooming gangs (across all communties including muslim girls). He grew up in Luton and knows many female choolfriends who've been groomed and passed around the muslim business community as 'deal-clinchers'.
I found the guy quite interesting in that he fiercely believes in his views. He's been arrested a couple of times and they are on youtube. He did nothing. On one occasion a nutter attacked him and his mate as they were doing a charity walk for a young girl dying of cancer. They were being chaperoned by a female Police officer. He had agreed beforehand that he would not walk into 'dangerous' areas where his presence might cause difficulties. The nutter attacked them out of the blue and his mate, a big guy looking a little like Laurence De'Lallio was attacked. Rather than arrest the nutter, the WPC arrested Robinson.
He protested his innocence and said that if she had told him not to walk down a particular place then he wouldn't and if he had then she would be right to arrest him. He asked why she wasn't arresting the nutter who was still standing there watching it and she just said "we'll take care of that" and didn't. He pleaded with her to let him continue his charity wak and she refused and even though he wasn't resisting she arrested him
It's all on youtube and it is exactly as I describe it.
He's actually appeared on Nigerian chat shows on television. He openly debates about the 7th Century interpretation of the Koran which he objects to and takes on the so-called Islamic 'moderates' who are anything but 'moderate'. He gets quite a friendly reception from the Christian hosts in Nigeria whre they have a few issues going on and similar problems are recognised.
Again, all on youtube.
Can you get served by that guy if you belong to the Tory party or the UKIP ?
The guy should not be working in this country if he does not accept democracy and freedom of expression. I bet he wouldn't refuse to serve one of those taxi drivers in Rochdale, Oldham, Bradford, Dewsbury, Luton, Blackpool, Coventry (a new one), Newham, Oxford and Rotherham.
