Didn't we top the list for payments to agents? If we're funnelling it through sister clubs then we're not doing a very good job of it.

Like I have been saying for years, Manchester city are the cleanness club in football right down to the last penny, or we would not be playing football at the highest levels. Simply all the checks that we are under from Uefa FFP and the Premier League would have flagged up years ago

Very misleading being that it's not us. Leading premier league club...who last led the premier league....
As to who it is, I'd expect leading is probably stretching it even if you extend the use of leading away from the team actually leading the league, to one that has been the the league for a while.
Some dodgy owners and corner cutters in the premier league. Funnily enough, despite the tears and the tantums, we are clearly not one of them.

Thanks Tolmie, is there any point in continuing the thread?I don't know the club but I asked the person responsible for the story and he said wasn't City.
Stands to reason, papers would not need to be asked twice to directly name us.
