Tough game today against Plymouth they won't be far away come May. Matete is quality you have a cracking player on your hands there @Stockport mackem

We scored early then had a good chance that the keeper turned on to the post. They lost 2 players in the first half (CB & Keeper) but as the half wore on they really came back into it, without testing our keeper.

Both teams had good half chances in the 2nd half, then a it of controversy.....when is VAR not VAR?

We scored a 2nd and the players celebrated, Plymouth didn't complain, all put on centre circle and the goal is being replayed on the big screen, the ref sees that Gregory is interferinbg with play/offside and he goes across to the assistant (who hadn't put his flafg up) and he disallows the goal.

If we hadn't won the game I'm sure there would have been an outcry.

First time we've been top all season, see if we've got enough to stay there.

Ipswich continue to falter whilst Derby are reeling them in, only 2 points behind 3rd now with a game in hand.

What happened with Wednesday's game? You seemed to be 10 minutes behind everyone else.

There was several minutes for the injury to Dan Scarr, then Cooper went off with a concusion so that was 8 minutes in thr first half, then in the 2nd we lost Patterson with what looked like a hamstring and there were several players down injured which meant there was 10 mins injury time there.

I also went today the eldest at Sheff Uni the lads a Wednesday fan so decided to do both .......... thought Wednesday played well even with some rather odd officiating but definitely deserved the win ..........I actually believe the real danger will be Derby I just can see Plymouth having a wobble and Derby are just flying now so I think they could be the gatecrashers.......... big game next week you lot v Ipswich you beat them and that gap become huge to make up ......... could be 9 points clear with a game in hand well we hope it is

They got the decision right .......... but ........... they came to that decision on the back of using a big screen replay which frankly they shouldn’t have done ......... it was fooking bizarre though ......... still it all came good in the end ...... Darren Moore was ok with it but I think it would have been different had it gone against them ............ actually though Plymouth would have shown more but I said all along that out of the three they would drop off they tend to do that, but now Derby are in the race I think next weeks game against Ipswich is huge for both clubs beat them and it’s 9 points with a game in hand ............ still plenty of games I know but it’s difficult to pin back a team that shows know signs of letting up

That's similar to my take on it, but why it wasn't disallowed sooner is bonkers.

He saw the replay which he shouldn’t have done ........... honestly I was decked you saw the game out because I had a nasty feeling he was gonna give Plymouth something at the end .......... btw 3900 Plymouth fans great away following but very very quiet ......... you take that many you should be very loud they weren’t

Yeah fair play to them, great following.

I think us scoring early doors knocked the euthisasm out of them, on the flip side it was a great atmosphere for us, but games like that are few and far between.

Next home game is Morecambe on Valentine's Day where they'll bring considerably less and there will be most likely 10k less home fans.
