It's over, we look all over the place.

Even though we have gone back top today, Ipswich & Plymouth won't drop enough points for us to finish ahead of them. The playoffs are all about momentum and with our current form we would most likely get knocked out in the semis. Only saving grace may be a near full strength squad going into them.

23 games unbeaten and we decide to revert to the real Sheffield Wednesday at the business end of the season.
Easter weekend may change things around to winnable games upcoming so you never know

To say Plymouth had 10 days between games they looked awful yesterday. Like us they need a result on Friday now.
I think big rests between games can work against you .......... we’ve had spells without games maybe two weeks and come back looking shattered ........ still big weekend incoming a couple of wins and it looks brighter again

I took a bit of security before the Barnsley game and backed Ipswich & Plymouth to win the league with Sky Bet and then laid us on Betfair too

Not massive sums involved but if we don't win then I'll at least I'll get a night out paid for to drown my sorrows :)

I think they will loads of twists and turns incoming I said a while ago that teams in decent runs are normally one bad result from going completely of the boil .......... Wednesday are clearly in that place now and Plymouth and that result yesterday could be on the brink of doing the same ........ think this Easter fixtures will have a huge bearing on who goes up because I wouldn’t be want the be them playoffs if the likes of Barnsley , Bolton and Derby are in there ......... saying that Derby are also in a wobble at the wrong time

If our form continues I could see it ending like this

Ipswich
Plymouth
------------
Barnsley
Wednesday
Bolton
Derby
------------
Posh
Pompey
Wycombe

For any of the 4 playoffs teams that's a tough gig.

What on earth happened? They were winning practically every week and now they’ve just choked.

Unfortunaetly injuries to key players has killed us, the ones filling in aren't good enough.

Doesn't help that Darren Moore decided to swap keepers again 3 games ago.

I think are only hope now is to get some players back for the playoffs.

We've proper fucked it

Why did he bench Dawson? Thought he was OK?
Good question m8

He dropped Stockdale after Exeter away as he looked suspect at long shots, Dawson played all the way through then to FGR away, where yes he passed the ball straight to their attacker but still managed to recover and stop a goal.

Stockdale comes back in next game and does the same thing he was dropped for in December in the following 2 games. Rumours were he was going to change them back again for yesterday but that didn't happen and tbh makes it look like you're clutching at straws.

Still think there are more twists to come ...........the pressure will be in Ipswich and Plymouth to get the job done let’s see how they handle it when it matters ......... still got a feeling the Plymouth will have a wobble ...........

I'd love to share your optimism m8, and I agree there will be twists and turns to come. Unfortunately though in that scenario it also means we have to win games too, which at the minute seems to be a big problem for us :)

Stockdale was dire against City last season, the Foden the shot from 25 yards more or less straight at him and he played all around it, looked like a mid-40s keeper in a charity game.

I think Stanley's change in luck yesterday will stop Monday being a big as a formality as expected, even though it is the biggest home banker in the league by far, not many 12/1's in league 1.
