League cup draw - United (a)

Are you saying there is a coach going from Corby every City home game? I live in Corby and have been driving for the past 3 years of having a season ticket.
No mate I meant a coach goes to the swamp every home game.
We drive up every game but usually have a car full.

This game is a very good indication of how many people are on the cup scheme. You'd imagine that every single fan with over 10,000 Ticket Points and on the cup scheme would want to attend this game wouldn't you? I'd love it if the club just game out and said how many people joined each scheme and what the Ticket Point breakdowns were.

No chance they'd ever give figures it'd mean transparency and with corporates, sponsors, supporters clubs etc all having their fingers in the pie the shit would hit the fan.

Not really. I know quite a few people that would never enter that particular shithole.

I'm normally one of them, not been since the Peter Reid days, my lad due to points & work has never had the pleasure so this time I've bitten the bullet.

Won't be doing it again.

I went to the PL game this season, first time at OT since 1991 (when Giggs came on and scored the winner) - a gap of 25 years.

Hated it - apart from the result obviously.

Trouble is, if I don't go I'll just be watching it on a dodgy feed in Mary D's.

My last match at the swamp was when a certain Denis Law backheeled a winner late in the game. I had my scarf snatched in Warwick Road Station on the way back home. I have never had any desire to go back since then.

Anyone who was there that day will not have been in any hurry to go back. It was the most frightened I've ever been at any game.

I won't embarrass him by naming him but one other poster on here locked himself in a toilet cubicle until the coast was clear.

My son went to his first away derby in the League Cup semi final in 2010. He'd go to any and every game he could but once at that shit-hole was enough for him.
