League Cup Final - Post Match Thread

Ok guys and gals I'm drunk in charge of a computer, and I just want to say thanks to our wonderful owner for giving me another sensational day as a blue. Well done all the team, what a time to be a blue. My eldest lad is 33 and I told him he's going to see something special happen over the coming years. Me I'm hoping the Grim reaper can leave me alone for a wee bit longer........time for bed said Zebedee.

Brilliant from back to front. Restricted Arse to half chances all game. Wilshire is soft as shite. He goes down quicker than a hoes knickers.

So pleased to see our leader, captain and legend notch. Fantastic.

Let this be the start of something magical under Pep.

Me to, isn’t life so easier these days, I started work 48 hour week, no paid holidays, don’t know they are born today.

Cant see a thread for Thursday night, but will be interesting to see how Pep approaches the next 2 matches - will it be a major changed side for Arsenal to rest a few of today's heroes, and then strongest side for Chelsea at home next Sunday? I certainly wouldnt expect to see Vinny play on Thursday. However, Pep's said post match he's targetting 6 more wins in the league, so who knows, maybe he means the next 6.

That's effectively the double done. Put a huge push on winning the next few prem games and then save the big guns for a push on the champs league.

What a time to be a blue.

Oh and wasn't it great to see Foden get on the field, sends out hope to every kid in football that.
