League Cup final tickets

Got a mate looking for 2 adult and 2 kids together but he’s going to have to wait till open sale. He’s happy to go in Club Wembley, does anyone know where you buy the tickets for that?

On the City website. Still decent availability in that section. The bars are nice in that area.

looking at how many tickets are left, its easy cos city let you click a block and it tells you how many are left in that block,so,just done a quick count

level 5 cheap tickets = 8319 left
level 1 = 3660 left
middle /2nd level expensive = 1586 left

all together 13,565

Surprised there’s that many gone already , doesnt look too good for myself who’d have to wait till Thursday afternoon

So if my maths is correct (and the numbers on this thread are right) we sold 15,000 tickets (all to League Cup scheme members) in the first 2 days , and then 5,000 more in the next two days ( mostly to fans with high points but season card holders not on the league cup scheme). That now leaves season card holders with 5,000 points or less to buy their tickets in the next two days , as well as those hanging on (like me) to buy three tickets together but having to wait until Thursday as my wife is Cityzens match day and not a season card holder. If there are 13,000 tickets left the uptake gets lower as “less loyal fans” with lower points decide not to buy. Strikes me there should be plenty left on Thursday but it might be a free for all Thursday afternoon (once open to all matchday members). Anyone care to challenge the logic here ( Marvin must have a view!!) ?

I think come Thursday afternoon there will be 7-8000 left and they will sell out once it gets to that level.

We need the numbers left which we have - 13,500 according to the figures above.

We need the rate at which they are selling. We really need someone who has been following the sales day by day to say how it's going because I think your logic that the sales rate would decline as sales progress is sound. I don't know the daily sales but we can roughly estimate it...

The original allocation was 33,534 and sales started on the 5th Feb so we have had 6 days of sales and if we assume that the entire remaining allocation is online then we can say that 20,000 have sold over 6 days which makes it 3,300 sales per day. But I suspect daily sales per day are now a lot lower. If we assume that a 1,000 sell per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday then there'll be about 10k going to Cityzens on Thursday afternoon but that's based on a very shaky understanding of how they are selling now. As you said, the rate will not be constant, and we need a recent daily sales figure to get a good idea.

if the current count is 13,500, let's see what is it as this time tomorrow, and then that will give us a good idea as to how fast they are selling, and what will remain on Thursday afternoon.

if someone has been counting the seats sell, then they've probably got a good feel for how many are selling per day and then we will have a good idea. It's 99% certain there will be thousands going to Cityzens but to be more precise we need more data! The Millwalllveteran could be on the money.

what i find strange is that only 1 block has sold out so far, block 107 in both level 1 and level 5
a few blocks on level 1 behind the goal have only a few left ,as in around 100,but i would of thought more blocks would have been sold out on level 1

Maybe it's because the best seats on the halfway line are so much more expensive than those behind the goal reducing demand for those blocks?

If it was our first Wembley game I think fans would push the boat out but now we've been so many times that you start to think about the pennies.

have villa sold out yet ? not seen any posts about shit fan base yet
Their fan forum is Villatalk. I scanned through and couldn't find a topic for it.

Their sales criteria is tighter than ours. Still on season tickets until the 18th Feb so perhaps they think that a higher proportion of their season ticket holders will go. They should really given that we've been about 15 times since 2010.
