Meh, they've not been with the big boys for a few years and believe the media shit. From what I can remember we've sold out every final or near as damn it but I could be wrong.
I did notice one of the replies identified the expense if we didn't sell out.
Crazy really you'd have thought with non-cup schemers bring eligible from Friday that my close of business on Monday we'd have been open to all S/C holders.When you look at where the criteria is currently, I think this has been selling pretty well. We can't have more than about 15000 on the LC scheme and 20000 tickets have shifted already, despite thousands of season ticket holders still not being eligible to buy. When you look at the small drops in selling criteria from 7500 points down for seasoncard holders not on the cup scheme, that would indicate that there are a lot of fans on 7500 points or less. A mate of mine has been a seasoncard holder since 1990 and I think he only becomes eligible today
When your a club that's been in the championship for five years and then get back to the premier league and fight relegation then added to the fact they havent won anything for years a league cup final becomes a huge thing for them. We've been to Wembley 16 times in 9 years if you count community sheids and semi finals so the excitement isn't quite the same but we will sell out but villa fans don't have the expense of playing in the champions league against Real coming up and having to fork out £85 quid for that plus £80 on the final ticket plus £60 on the coach for me and my grandson so its pretty obvious tickets will move slower than Villa's!They are saying we didn't sell out in our cup finals last season.
