League One Thread - 2021/22 | Sunderland promoted

Almost 600 miles round trip and more than five hours travelling each way.

Just what you want on a Sunday.
Exactly ridiculous.

I struggle to watch us so not sure the nation will be interested :)
it think that's Morecambe's slide gathering full pace now, struggling every match it seems.
I think if they finished 5th bottom where they are now would be classed as a decent season, stopping up gives them something to build on.

You couldn't make this shit up!

We finally put in a half decent performance and I miss it :)

Maybe it's me, maybe I'm a Jonah!!!

Due to last minute change in work location I didn't get back in time.

Sounds like 3-0 flattered us and we rode our luck at times, but after the last few games you don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

We finally get to see Wolves loanee Theo Corbeanu get a start and he scores and sets one up.

Sunderland will be thinking it's Dejavu with how the season is panning out, long way to go yet though.

Good winds for Ipswich (1-4) at Wycombe!) and Wigan who were 2-0 down at Fleetwood, and Rotherham whilst leading you'd still take a point at Charlton.

Pompey seem to be more hit amd miss than we do after a 1-1 draw at home to Cambridge.

Plymouth at home next in the FAC, 12:15 on a Sunday! ITC's controller must have worked for Sky at some point. Not sure that is a game that is shouting "magic of the cup" and 12:15 on a Sunday Plymouth to Sheffield. You're having a laugh.
How did Callum Doyle play for Sunderland? - from the Sunderland fan commentary I was listening to it sounded like he was really struggling. Not surprising as he has just turned 18 and has played almost all their games so far.

Looking on RTG forum a lot of Sunderland fans are saying he needs a rest and to be taken out of the firing line.

They mention that he played 31 games last season and he's already played half that by 3rd November.

I watched it through Sunderland you would thought they should have got more than what they ended up with ........ apart from the dodgy offside goal that was disallowed I thought they created very little even with a lot of possession.......... sadly like Wednesday they travel in great numbers but are badly let down by clowns at the top

Think that’s why Adams left them to join us ............. he performed miracles to get them up but keeping them up was always gonna be a huge challenge

Just watched the extended highlights and it looks like the rub of the green went our way last night.

The disallowed goal, Patterson's awful shot that turned into a great pass for the 3rd.

Just hope the League One tinkerman doesn't drop Corbeanu again, he needs a run of games. Be nice to get Luongo and Hutchinson back too to strengthen us.
