LeagueCup SF - Man Utd - away allocation of only 3000 (p30)

Point the finger at the Neanderthals in 109/110 throwing stuff onto the pitch at an innocent bloke just doing his job, screaming abuse at him and then the utter cretin making monkey gestures.

It’s easy to point the finger at City, Utd and the police but they are responsible for these scrotes and sadly they have ruined it for everyone.

So, because of a handful of idiots, 6000 City fans are going to miss out on a derby ticket at Old Trafford.

What did United do when Bellamy was struck by an object at United?
What did United do when United fans threw numerous objects at City fans from the quadrant over looking the K Stand top tier after the previous League Cup semi-final?
What did United do when a City coach full of City fans got bottled as it passed the Bishops Blaize?

Why don’t you blame the PL, the TV companies, and both clubs for agreeing to a Saturday night, 5.30pm kick off?
Why don’t you blame GMP for not stopping that time?
Why don’t you blame the club for allowing home tickets to filter on to ticket resale websites, so United fans could buy them?

Don’t just blame City fans.

Nobody can legislate for a handful of idiots in a crowd of 55,000. And because of that, 6000 City fans ‘who have done nothing wrong’ won’t now get a derby ticket if the rumour is true?

Seems a bit over the top but don’t enjoy seeing a huge following of rags at our place and I understand they did 40k worth of damage at the last game. So whilst it is totally frustrating for those that want to go I can certainly see some logic behind it.

Don’t think damage costs at previous derbies would have come into it at all. If you work out extra money made on tickets and potentially food/drink will be way more than 40k. Now the possibility to sell the tickets to home fans for more I don’t know..
Never minded having more away fans personally, them games are the ones I remember the best.

There’s a simple solution to that, Worsley.

Put GMP on the concourses and in the male toilets.

There’s plenty of GMP at OT in the away end on derby day.

That will stop any damage.

Not much point in having 100-200 GMP sat in riot vans outside the ground while the match is going on doing nothing.

Will this set a future precedence?

Will all future derby domestic cup games, League Cup and FA Cup, be limited to 3000 away tickets per club?

Hey! Them riot police are guarding my motorbike in the grey car park I'll have you know!

Would much rather take 7k to villa or even the annual trip to Leicester with that many fans than a 3k Derby.

Are Liverpool and Everton going to have just the usual away allocation when they meet in the FA cup?
